Children ages 15 and under will need an adult on the property at all times.

Please Note: Cara’s Cat Café is not a shelter and cannot accept cats or take in owner surrenders. All cats at the café come from our rescue partners, S.O.C.K.S. and 30A Cats, and go through a full quarantine and vetting process before arriving. If you need help with a cat, please contact one of our partner shelters directly—links are available on our page.

At our Cat Cafe, we envision a warm and inviting space where feline companions and food lovers come together, fostering a community that embraces creativity and connection.
By partnering with our local shelters, 30A CATS and SOCKS, we aim to provide a safe haven for adoptable cats by allowing them to mingle with visitors and find their furr-ever homes, all cats are adoptable.
Through these partnerships, we aspire to raise awareness about the importance of animal rescue, promote adoption, and provide financial support to the shelters through our cafe.
Our unique coffee shop menu will feature delicious and thoughtfully prepared food and beverages to enjoy from brunch to lunch.
Together, we can build a more compassionate world, one cup of coffee and purr at a time.
How it works
Our Unique Spaces
Lounge Area
Our lounge offers an intimate setting where you can relax with our resident kitties. Due to its VERY limited capacity, we strongly encourage making a reservation to secure your spot.
Cafe Area
Enjoy our spacious cafe on a first-come, first-served basis. With large windows that provide an excellent view of our playful cats, it’s the perfect spot to dine. If you're visiting with a larger party, please let us know in advance.
Reservations & Payment
Individual Booking Required:
Each guest must have their own reservation. While one person can book on behalf of a group, you’ll need separate reservations for every individual (for example, a group of 5 requires 5 individual bookings).
Online Reservations Only:
All reservations must be made at www.carascatcafe.com. We do not take reservations over the phone.
Arrival & Payment Details:
Payment is collected upon arrival at the cafe at a rate of $18 per hour PER PERSON. This fee helps cover the cost of cat care, with 100% of adoption fees returning to our local shelters. Please be sure to arrive on time, as your session will end exactly one hour after your booked time. If you plan to dine, consider arriving a bit early or eating afterward. While you’re welcome to leave and re-enter the lounge for meals, your reserved time slot will remain fixed.
IF BOOKING MULTIPLE APPOINTMENTS AND THE TIME SLOT YOU PICKED IS NO LONGER AN OPTION, THAT MEANS ROOM IS AT CAPACITY.

Yes, walk-ins are welcome! However, we highly recommend making a reservation. Our cat lounge has limited capacity, and reservations help us provide the best experience for all guests.
100% of adoption fees go to our partner shelters to support rescued cats. The lounge fee helps cover our operational costs, including cat care and facility maintenance, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all. Your support makes this possible—thank you!
We welcome children ages 10 and up, as long as they are accompanied by an adult, to ensure a calm and safe environment for both our guests and cats. Younger children are still welcome to dine in our café area and enjoy watching the cats through the viewing windows. Additionally, we are working closely with our volunteers to develop kid-friendly events for younger visitors in the future. Stay tuned for updates!
